NFC North matchup as the winless Lions head to Soldier Field to face the 1-2 Bears.

Chicago were embarrassing in their Week 3 loss to the Browns. With starting QB Andy Dalton injured they rolled with rookie Justin Fields who spent almost the entirety of his first NFL start running away from Myles Garrett! The playcalling was awful and the Bears never really put Fields in a position to succeed. The defense which has been a strong unit for the last few years is struggling too which doesn’t leave much to be excited about for Bears fans.

The Lions might be 0-3 but they’ve shown some fight in all three games! They were in with a chance right until the clock hit 0:00 in Week 1 against the Niners, they then had the lead at HT against the Packers in Week 2 before Aaron Rodgers did his thing, and then last week the Ravens needed an NFL record 66-yard FG on the last play of the game to see off the Lions. Detroit doesn’t have any real WRs of note, their offense is pretty much D’Andre Swift and T.J. Hockenson with a sprinkling of everyone else. Swift has been fantastic as a receiving back and has 40+ yards receiving in all three games so far this year, which makes his U/O 37.5 receiving yards a screaming over in my opinion. Rookie Amon-Ra St Brown (what a name) has had a rough start to like as an NFL pass-catcher, the former USC player has seen his snap % drop in each game, going from 64% and 4 targets in Week 1 to 43% and 1 target in Week 3. He’s yet to have over 23 yards receiving in a game, and only managed 2 yards last week. St Brown’s U/O receiving yards is set at 23.5 whilst his receptions total is U/O 2.5, with his drop in snap % I’m leaning on taking the under on both.

Spread: Lions +3

Total Match Points line: U/O 41.0

Game Prediction: Lions 23-21 Bears

Best Bet: D’Andre Swift over 37.5 receiving yards & Amon-Ra St Brown to have under 2.5 receptions and under 23.5 receiving yards @ 3/1 with Bet365 Bet Builder. [0.5]
