Week 5 kicks off in the Pacific North-West as the 2-2 Seattle Seahawks welcome the 3-1 L.A. Rams in a TNF NFC West clash.

Seattle needed to beat the Niners in Week 4 to avoid dropping to a 1-3 start. Russell Wilson has been in his typical early season MVP calibre form throwing 9TDs and zero interceptions through the first 4 weeks of the season. The defense has been poor though, grading inside the bottom half in overall defense and bottom 10 in pass coverage against receivers according to PFF, that’s unlikely to improve as they face Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods tonight. Bobby Wagner hasn’t been close to his former leagues-best standards, but he has stood out in the combined tackles & assists department with double-digit efforts in every game so far this season.

The Rams suffered their first loss of the season to the Cardinals last week as they lost the battle of the unbeaten. Their inability to stop Kyler Murray through the air or Chase Edmonds on the ground was surprising considering the Rams previous success against this Cardinals team. Arizona did a great job of putting off the timing between Matt Stafford and Cooper Kupp, not allowing the latter to add to his 4TD catches on the year. There was some noise from the Rams faithful that Darrell Henderson might’ve been underused against the Cardinals, as he popped off for 89 yards on only 14 carries averaging over 6.3 yards per attempt, and they might be smart to give Henderson a heavier workload in this one as Seattle also rank in the bottom half of the NFL in run defense. Seattle has allowed a 100+ yard rusher in 2 of 4 games so far this year and teams are seeing weakness, as in every game Seattle has played an opposition RB has had at least 17 rushing attempts. A stat-line of 17/96/1 for Henderson wouldn’t surprise me in this matchup. On defense the Rams have a little something to prove after allowing Brady to throw for over 400 yards in Week 3 and then standing by and watching Kyler Murray do whatever he wanted last week. The unit is talented and has game-winning players like Jalen Ramsey & Aaron Donald, but has underperformed so far this year without former DC Brandon Staley. Things won’t get any easier for the Rams as they face off with Russell Wilson in Seattle but look for Aaron Donald to be active as usual, the reigning DPOY has had 3 or more combined tackles & assists in every game so far this year and looks unstoppable through the middle.

I think for our best bet we’re going to give you two doubles, the first involves Donald and Wagner, the two defensive rocks of their respective defenses have both been busy boys in the Tackles & Assists department this season, Donald’s U/O 2.5 & Wagner’s U/O 9.5 are numbers they’ve bested in every contest so far in the 2021 season and at 2/1 we like their chances of hitting the over once again. We also like this as a Darrell Henderson game, the RB has had his workload eaten into by the arrival of Sony Michel but his impressive yards per carry in the loss to Arizona last week should mean an uptick in usage for the talented back. Henderson to have over 15.5 rush attempts and over 64.5 rushing yards is 11/5 and looks good against this Seahawks defense. the 4-fold pays 15/2 with Bet365 Bet Builder and is worth a .25 unit bet.
