NFC North battle in Minneapolis as the winless Lions are on the road to take on the 1-3 Vikings. Will the Lions finally get off the mark, or will the Vikings get themselves within a game of .500?

Detroit is just an overmatched football team. They have some talent, but not enough and outside of two players on the offense you wonder how they’re going to move the ball with any consistency. On defense they just can’t cover anybody and it’s tough to win in the NFL when you can’t cover.

The Vikings are a funny football team, they’re talented on both sides of the ball, well-coached and can score points but they’re just so inconsistent! On offense they have guys like Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson and the ageless Adam Thielen, those guys are a nightmare for even the best defenders to deal with! On defense Eric Kendricks is the main man, the ILB is a tackling machine and has double-digit tackles in every single game this season! The secondary is the weakness of this Vikings side, luckily for them, this Detroit team aren’t built to capitalise on that. Veteran Patrick Peterson plays every single defensive snap and through four games is yet to have to make more than 2 tackles in a single matchup, quite impressive for a corner who because of his age you would think teams would target more.

I can’t see the Vikings losing this game, I think they’re too talented to fall to 1-4, whilst it’s in the Lions best interest to lose as many games as they can this year to speed up the rebuild.

Spread: Lions +10

Total Match Points line: U/O 49.5

Game Prediction: Vikings 27-20 Lions

Best Bet: Eric Kendricks over 8.5 Tackles & Assists, Patrick Peterson under 3.5 Tackles & Assists and Vikings to win the game outright @ 4/1 with Bet365 Bet Builder. [0.5]
