Grudge match in the NFC South as Jameis Winston and his Saints welcome the Super Bowl Champion Bucs to Louisanna. Can New Orleans pull to within a game of Tampa, or will Brady and his Bucs pull clear in the division?

Tampa destroyed the Chicago Bears last week. They really ruffled Justin Fields’ feathers and forced 5 turnovers from the rookie passer. Surprisingly though were the Bucs struggles stopping the run. Through two years Tampa have been the gold standard in run defense, but since losing Lavonte David to injury they’ve given up some big plays on the ground, and that’ll be telling today against the NFL’s most run-heavy team. Tom Brady threw for 4 TD passes and zero Interceptions in the 38-3 blow-out of Chicago, and the ageless passer looks to be giddying up for another MVP / Super Bowl run.

The Saints got a gritty win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7. A low scoring game in bad conditions went the way of New Orleans 13-10, in a game that was almost perfect (bar one D.K. Metcalf reception) from the defense. Of course, we get the first of our two annual Lattimore vs Evans matchup’s, but with Jameis Winston making his first start against Tampa since being ousted for TB12, maybe that will force Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore to take a backstep… then again, maybe not. Alvin Kamara is the standout player on this Saints roster, and the talented receiving back has four straight 100+ all-purpose yard games and heads into this matchup with back to back 50+ receiving yard games, including a huge 123 yards through the air against Seattle. Kamara has also found success against the Bucs throughout his career, posting nine total TDs in 8 games against Tampa Bay.

Spread: Tampa -4.0

Total: 48.5

Game Prediction: Bucs 28-23 Saints

Best Bet: Alvin Kamara over 47.5 Receiving Yards, and to score an anytime TD @ 17/10 with Bet365 Bet Builder. [0.5]
