All of our bets from Game Week 9:
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS @ NEW YORK JETS
Who wouldâve thought that in week 9 these two sides would have a combined record of 2-13?! Sure we knew the Jets were going to be bad but 0-8 bad?! And we also knew this would be a transition year for the Patriots but I donât think anyone expected them to be entering week 9âŚ
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS @ TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Huge divisional game on SNF tonight as Brady and his Bucs welcome Brees and the Saints in a rematch from week 1. The Saints left week 1 victorious but itâs the Bucs whoâve been the team to beat since. Tampa have been fantastic on both sides of the ball recently. Brady has got this offenseâŚ
MIAMI DOLPHINS @ ARIZONA CARDINALS
So Tua became the first rookie QB in this class to win his first game and although he didnât exactly put the team on his back he did just enough and it was a huge win against the Rams for Miami but I think the Rams will look at that game and blame themselves forâŚ
PITTSBURGH STEELERS @ DALLAS COWBOYS
The last undefeated side head to Jerry world looking to move to 8-0 against arguably the disaster show of the season in the Dallas Cowboys. The Steelers squeaked out a win against the Ravens last week to keep their unbeaten record in tact in a game that they were somewhat lucky to win but luckilyâŚ
LAS VEGAS RAIDERS @ LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Justin Herbert is a gunslinger, man! I just donât think the Charger will be completely out of a game as long as heâs throwing the rock, since coming in for Tyrod Taylor this season heâs thrown for 15 TDâs against only 5 INTâs and even in their losses heâs kept them in every game andâŚ
NEW YORK GIANTS @ WASHINGTON
The 1-7 Giants are on a short week and travel to the 2-5 Washington team and yet neither of these two sides are out of the running to win the division. God the NFC East sucks. Washington enjoyed a dominant win over the Cowboys before heading into their bye week and after their rest getâŚ
CHICAGO BEARS @ TENNESSEE TITANS
Two 5 win teams riding 2 game losing streaks looking to get back on track in week 9 as the Bears travel to Jack Daniels country to face the Titans. Chicago played the Saints close last week forcing them into OT but just coming up short and worryingly for the Bears was how easily theyâŚ
DETROIT LIONS @ MINNESTOA VIKINGS
Well how was that for a turn up for the books?! The Vikings ran Dalvin up up and through the Green Bay Packers on their way to an upset win and will welcome another divisional foe in the Detroit Lions to Minneapolis looking to go back to back for the first time this season. Detroit’sâŚ
CAROLINA PANTHERS @ KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Return of the Mc! Christian McCaffrey is active for this one and I’m sure raring to go after missing multiple weeks due to injury and against a Chiefs side who can be run on he’ll be licking his lips at the prospect of facing the World Champs although it’s still to be seen just howâŚ
HOUSTON TEXANS @ JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Battle of the AFC South 1-6’s as the Texans and Jags play their second matchup of the year. With both sides coming off bye weeks it’s difficult to judge what we’re going to see here but the Texans have improved hugely since Bill O’Brien was fired and have already beaten the Jags once already thisâŚ
BALTIMORE RAVENS @ INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
The Ravens will be stewing after losing a game to the Steelers that they really shouldâve won, they kept Big Ben to under 175 passing yards but the Pick 6 Lamar Jackson threw on their first drive prove costly as they lost by 4 to the still undefeated Steelers. The Offense has struggled in theâŚ
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS @ BUFFALO BILLS
Easily the game of the early slate and maybe game of the week as the 6-1 Seahawks travel to Buffalo to take on the 6-2 Bills. Buffalo managed to get the monkey off their back last week finally beating the New England Patriots at home for the first time since 2011 but it certainly wasnâtâŚ
DENVER BRONCOS @ ATLANTA FALCONS
Oh hi Falcons Defense! Nice of you to finally show up in 2020! Atlantaâs D had a good night on Thursday keeping Teddy Bridgewater to under 180 yards passing, 1 TD and 1 INT whilst managing to Sack him 3 times and it was a performance at the perfect time as the Falcons Offense sputteredâŚ
GREEN BAY PACKERS @ SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
This was one of the games fans had circled as a must watch when the schedule was released, a rematch of the 2019 NFC Championship game, Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and Aaron Jones vs Jimmy G, George Kittle and Kyle Shanahan. What a TNF game! Alas no, the Niners sit bottom of the NFC WestâŚ
